My name is Tamás Szőke, and I am the creator and maker of Szőkeshoes – a brand specializing in handmade, unique, and high-quality leather shoes.

I received my professional education in Budapest at the Simon Ferenc School of Shoe and Leather Industry. During my time there, I had the privilege of learning from esteemed masters who not only imparted their knowledge of crafting stitched shoes but also instilled in me a profound appreciation and passion for handmade shoe production, with all its sensory experiences of scents, sounds, and colors. Beginning my career at the Hungarian State Opera, I was fortunate to further expand my expertise by working at renowned shoe-making workshops abroad, including Herbert Postl in Vienna, Rainer Blochinger in Germany, and Berndt Schäfer.
