I'm Tamás Szőke, founder and creator of Szőkeshoes - unique, handmade, quality leather shoes.

Allow me to make a brief introduction:

I completed my vocational studies in Budapest, at the Simon Ferenc High School of Shoe and Leather Industry. I was taught by master craftsmen who shared with me not only the mastery and high level of professional knowledge of making sewn shoes, but also a deep respect and love for handmade shoes, with all the smells, sounds and colours that go with it.

I started my career at the Hungarian State Opera House, and then I had the opportunity to further develop my skills in prestigious shoemaking workshops abroad, such as Herbert Postl in Vienna, Rainer Blochinger in Germany and Berndt Schäfer.

For me, making unique, premium quality shoes is unthinkable without professional humility and perfectionism. A bespoke, custom-made leather shoe is not only comfortable and unique, but also has many other advantages.
